POETRY: CLIFF CURTIS’ WEDDING RING HAS THE MOST ROMANTIC INSCRIPTION EVER!
Hollywood’s leading Maori male actor, Cliff Curtis, hails from Lord of The Rings and creative Avatar special effects nation, New Zealand. He’s starred in films with many of Oscars favored sons and daughters across his career thus far.
Yet, it was the wedding ring inscription, of the newly married and head-over-heels in love actor/ award winning film producer that reflects his creativity as an authentic Hollywood artist.
In the poetic indigenous Maori language, inscribed on the inside of Cliff’s wedding ring, are the words: Ko au, ko koe. Ko koe, ko au as a tribute to his stunning new bride and their epic great love. Translated this means: I am you. You are me. The poetic subtext: We are equal and one with each other. Or in Jewish culture, I am my beloved’s and my beloved is mine–etched from the timeless Songs of King Solomon, would be a similar equivalent.
The sentiment perhaps best sums up a true star too, who seeks to serve the world with their art of cinematic storytelling. Once you enter the public eye of celebrity, you can’t really go back to where you came from, you are committed to being one with your fans as a leader of the world.
I thought that was worth sharing today from the romantic pages of a Hollywood Maori great’s life story. It made me believe in love in a new way. What a message from Curtis to Hollywood. Always heartfelt with what he offers the world through cinema, as a unique Hollywood artist of storytelling, Cliff Curtis just rocks. Love is a door of true equality. Thanks for the message Mr Curtis.

I think he said what he feels in his heart and to a women you can never go wrong that way.
My husband and I have been together since we were 18 it is now 21 years later and we have a nine year old son,you would think the love and romance would fade as people say you have to spice things up. We never have had to spice anything up. My husband told me once when I was pregant that he was told by a famous Indian Cheif that his soul mate would give him a son, no other women would. I laughed but not long after that started to worry. We didnt know the sex of our child but then I remember God brought us together you see my husband saved my life from a very dangerous man. My husband the entire time said its a boy and you are my soul mate, I gave birth to a 7lb 3oz 21 inches long baby boy who was screaming. It was more then just a birth of a child we lost three babys to miscarriages before our little angel arrived and I look at both my husband and son and I can understand why Mr. Curtis wrote what he did. I am Scottish and Irish, with a little Indian from my mother. My husband is Indian and you can see in our son both of us as one, boy does he ever have the hard headedness his father and mother both have, I also see the will to fight for life, and to love every moment. After all I have never known a love as great as ours.
