THE OBAMA FAMILY WILL VACATION IN PARIS: THE CITY OF LOVE
Now there is no denying that ONE family deserve an overseas vacation this year. Thankfully the Obama kids, Malia and Sasha are going to get that with their famous parents Barack and Michelle Obama. Go girls!
Malia, 10, and Sasha, 7 are jetting with mom Michelle to France to meet up with their dad, MSNBC.com reports. The trip is the first time out of the US for the girls since their famous father became the 44th President of the United States
As little that the Obamas do is very private, here’s the travel itinerary. Barack will fly back to Washington, D.C. on Sunday. The Obama girls will stay on in Paris for another week.
French newspapers think that the Obamas should dine at the Jules Verne restaurant atop the Eiffel Tower. Barack says this is what he wants to do: “Let’s see, we have the food, we have Paris, we’ve got the south of France, Provence, the wine.”
The man has taste! But he does put all of the pressure to speak the French language on his wife’s shoulders when he says: ”I studied [French] in high school and I just forgot it,” he said, adding “Michelle…I think she speaks a little French.”
You just know Michelle’s gonna thump him, when she gets behind closed doors in France for saying that. Now she’s got her head in French language text books thanks to Barack”s joke. She works hard for America that Michelle Obama! :) [source]
