ADAM LAMBERT IS SET FOR A LUCRATIVE CAREER AS AN INTERNATIONAL ARTIST

Okay, the internet is abuzz with mixed reports, that Adam Lambert wasn’t crowned American Idol King last night. First of all, congrats to Kris Allen as America’s new singing pop king of the people. Now let’s analyze the show last night from a producer’s (aka Simon Fuller, oh…  and Simon Cowell’s) TV formatting perspective.

American Idol Finale show’s TV format, was based on the fact that Adam Lambert is the most lucrative recording artist of this year’s, American Idol line up. I say that, because this was where all of the money was spent on last night’s finale. For example, Kiss and the ‘big blinging’ rock production number, was totally revolved around Adam.

Sometimes, you give ‘the people’ what they want. But the money making people (Fuller and Cowell) take the artist who lays the golden eggs (Adam Lambert) and they exit stage left into the recording studio and run! They pulled the wool over the people’s eyes for a minute, but they have the big money making artist in their hands. That was so what happened last night.

While the new Idol King (Kris Allen) is now Idol bound with duty, appearance duties in malls and has responsibilities for the Idol brand, Adam Lambert is free, from all of those dutiful commitments to go straight into recording with Cowell and Co, and spin out a hit and lucrative record.

That seems to be the plan of Simon Cowell and Simon Fuller last night. If Adam Lambert can be the male,  rock equivalent of UK’s Leona Lewis vocal power for Cowell, he’ll be laughing all the way to the bank.

Yes Simon Cowell is a great American Idol judge, but he really makes all his money from being Simon Fuller’s onscreen boy, to make the next big swag of mullah. Nice job Fuller-Cowell with Adam Lambert, and again, congrats to Mr Kris Allen, American Idol’s ‘crowned’ champ.

The Idol Tour has already run into problems marketing Kris Allen as the King. Without the help of the back story on camera, and the Seacrest Interviewers TV format, we all know it’s Lambert that’s going to scream the house down, and be the show stopper of the Live tour, like he did last night with rock band Kiss.

That’s the perfect platform to sell Adam’s new album. Fuller and Cowell, so know what they’re doing. Congrats Kris and Adam. Nice job playing these UK lads game. Nice job Brit boys at using FOX Networks money to totally showcase your next big artist to the world. So smart. Ka Ching!  [image source]
