TWEEN CASTING HEATS UP IN HOLLYWOOD AS HAYDEN PANETIERRE WANTS TO GET FOOTLOOSE

With Zac Efron and Miley Cyrus opening at the box office at #1 with tween driven films, tween entertainment is the most viable and highly contested terrain in Hollywood entertainment.

Can Hayden go the way of Box Ofice #1 stars who are triple threats, this year like Beyonce, Zac Efron and Miley Cyrus? I think she can. Girlfriend is ambitious.

Dancing With The Stars allum, Julianne Hough is said to be vying for the lead role too, which will potentially star opposite Gossip Girl’s Chace Crawford, whose tried out for the lead in Footloose after Efron walked away from the role.

Whose tween chemistry would work best on Footloose? With the fiercest competition between Twilight and New Moon’s Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson’s onscreen chemistry, tween chemistry is something that casting agents have got to get right with all of that Twilight fierceness in the competitive tween market now. Spotlight on Footloose’s casting director big time! They’re the real star of this show.

We know that Hough can sexy up any leading male she’s paired with from her history on dancing with the stars. This would be less risk for the film’s studio execs to cast Hough in the lead. But Hayden Panettiere, does she deserve a chance for the lead female role?

A foolproof formula, would be to cast Vanessa Hudgens in the role opposite Chace Crawford for the musical box office draw card with tweens. Although Hudgens has been flying under the radar a little since her High School Musical 3 casting, Hudgens web hits on Horiwood.Com each day remain strong. She’d give Chace Crawford the Efron factor that is now missing from Footloose. Let’s see how the Footloose wrangle shapes up for leading lady. Kind of exciting that there’s all of this young potential around in Hollywood waiting to explode onto the big screen.

Tween triple threats are the future of Hollywood entertainment as we dance and sing our way through a global recession. An even more radical casting would be Solange Knowles in the lead. Why does it have to be blonde on blonde. Solange and Hudgens could provide the difference needed that’s more inclusive of the wider world. :)
