FOR ALL THE TEA IN CHINA: LADY GAGA IS A MARY POP-PINS PUPPET!

ladygagamarypoppins[image source: splash news] Lady Gaga was hilarious today when she returned from performing in Germany, to go to a London studio dressed in her latest vision of ladiness.

Speaking in her best Madonna-affected British accent still, the performance  artist Lady Gaga had made some critical changes. Instead of her trademark Blonde Minnie Mouse hair bow, (a tactic Gaga uses in America to capture the Disney Mouse House youth audience’s attention off the Miley Cyrus and High School Musical tribe); Lady Gaga was working her inner Mary Popins to capture the British audience instead.

Mary Poppins was once the lovable British Nanny in the magical kid’s musical film Chitty, Chitty Bang Bang. The film is an iconic English classic. Poppins had a magical umbrella too, and was played by the lovely British Actress Julie Andrews, one of the best musical performers in film of her era.

Lady Gaga’s hat and matching umbrella conjur up a modern take on Mary Poppins. The Brit accent shows an American performance artist crossing-over between America into the UK, perhaps as a tribute back to English Rose, Julie Andrews crossing over so successfully into American markets seamlessly across Andrews’ career.

The lilac tea cup is hysterical. It says English Rose. It’s a little bit Alice in Wonderland, but really it denotes the Brit’s love of their cups of tea, as the civilized meeting point of polite  dignity and serious conversation. Lady Gaga is a ‘serious’ artist. It also could mean she wants to have tea with The Queen and be invited to Buckingham Palace, like the Obamas were. Too funny!

Stefani Germanotta’s Lady Gaga Poppins, takes the tea cup with her everywhere, as the icon that she is an English Lady. It’s odd, but totally lol comical.

Apparently, according to the UK’s The Sun Newspaper’s report, Lady Gaga was drinking ginger tea out of the tea cup which is good to soothe the throat of singers. Ginger is also a Chinese root vegetable used  in a lot of Asian dishes.

Lady Gaga is in the Queen’s empire of the UK and she is speaking directly to her Chinese audience in the vast faraway Chinese Empire, that makes up 1/6th of the world’s total population. Stefani Germanotta knows how to turn on a show for her Chinese fans. To prove her point with the paparazzi, when she once left her tea cup, in a restaurant, a waiter observed that the tea cup set said “made in China” on its base.

So Lady Gaga’s Mary Poppins is reaching two international emerging markets outside of America at the same time with her role play here as Lady Mary Poppins wearing a Chinoise shaped hat. If you have any doubts that Lady Gaga is not a huge seller in China right now, then you need to see this. Her fame is huge there.

Finally, I would like to see Lady Gaga’s record contract for her debut solo album The Fame Game. She’s very creative, but her creativity is being pimped out hard right now. Her many many reinventions perhaps denote, that for her first album, that perhaps she is getting a raw deal from it, profit-wise.

Perhaps, she took the exposure and the opportunity, but has to work hard for her share of the residual profit from the album. She looks like a puppet on producers strings that are too tight.

Her  performance art is always creative, but a little bit aggressive too, like she’s protesting restriction with and through her art. (Remember Prince, the purple one, who once protested too, when he was once restrained within his record contract he desteted).

Thats what the “lilac Gaga” represents that she’s been doing too lately. That’s my take on her performance art anyway. And I think I might be right on this young lady’s antics and actions. Artists do speak through their art. Lady Gaga always “says” a lot!!! Thankfully, she can sing too.

At least she’s having loads of fun though fulfilling her record contract requirements. She’s hysterical, and a winner in my book!

Free Lady Gaga! She’s more than earned her liberty already, dontchathink? Two #1′s. Wow!
