WHILE TAYLOR LAUTNER IS CENTER-STAGE, ROBERT PATTINSON WORKS ON PROMOTING HIS MUSIC CAREER

Robert Pattinson  of Twilight and New Moon is always working it, working it, working it!

While Taylor Lautner works hard at driving New Moon‘s action narrative forward, Pattinson, who takes a lesser role  in the new Twilight series film, is parlaying his spotlight into a music career.

In Vancouver, Robert Pattinson’s PR and press efforts are convincing fans that  he’s a viable musician. Pattinson bought his childhood mate, Sam Bradley over from the UK, to rock out with him in filming downtime, and to take the focus off Pattinson as a Twilight star, and on RPatz as a rising rock star.

Childhood buds Pattinson and Bradley have really been making the rounds together in Vancouver. Last Friday, Pattinson attended a gig by Bradley —who co-wrote the song “Never Think,” recorded by Rob for theTwilight soundtrack—at the Vancouver Grandview Legion hall.

These UK Lad’s are smart. If #1 New York Times best selling author, Catherine Hardwicke can parlay herself into a top author, from directing Twilight,  which she has just done with Twilight: Director’s Notebook, then Robert Pattinson, certainly can pimp it out too, using Twilight‘s magic audience attraction, and get a music cd sold too.Why not! Good luck to Pattinson on his music career. You’ve always got to respect someone whose working it! That gets results in the end.

Let’s just cut to the chase though as to what will sell on Pattinson’s new cd? When is he going to do a duet with Kristen Stewart? It’s not rocket science to work out, what’s going to be the draw card, right?!
