DID LINDSAY LOHAN THINK HER MADONNA WOULD GET GLAMOUR’S COVER?

The Hollywood rumor mill was spinning it yesterday that (sometimes) actress, Lindsay Lohan, was reportedly peeved when the cover of Glamour Magazine went to Katie Holmes. Lohan had spent a day shooting her take on Madonna’s infamous Like A Virgin performance, from back in the day on MTV for the magazine.

Personally, I think Lohan did a great job. She looks great. It’s perhaps the only shoot that looks remotely edgy out of Glamour’s American Icons portraits  collection in its  70th Anniversary edition. And edgy keeps a magazine authentic. Props to Ms Lohan. Currently Lohan is like the whipping girl of LA’s media at the minute. The media’s favorite to be nasty to, but she’s a tough survivor of the fame game and she knows how to bring it on…

Lindsay Lohan is also realistic and paparazzi savyy, knowing that in an age of social responsibility, that the ‘working mother actress’ whose life most reflects Michelle Obama’s leadership and life, is going to be the most rewarded, so I doubt if these rumors are true. She’s shrewd.

It does not mean, that actresses without husbands or children, like Lindsay Lohan should be marginalized though. But perhaps if Lohan does want to land big magazine covers again, she can get a little bit more socially involved. Nevertheless, what would the Young Hollywood Circus be like, without the Lindsays of this world in it?

Now that Britney Spears is all responsible-like under court ordered conservatorship, ‘the crazy’ falls  on Lohan’s shoulders more than ever, to bring on the ‘freak show’ component of Young Hollywood that has always existed in Tinsel Town, since its founding origins are as a vaudeville filming settlement town. Hollywood, after all is based on spectacle.

Even her critics have gotta give it to her, Lindsay Lohan best adds that to the mix!
