FOR GIRLS ALL OVER THE WORLD, RIHANNA SHOULD CO-OPERATE WITH POLICE

For  the sake of all young girls around the world, who have bought her albums (Chris Brown’s too, for that matter)… Rihanna should be seen to cooperate with the police in their investigation into Chris Browns abusive behavior.

If she does not she says these things to young women the world over:

1. That a girl isn’t worth, NOT being hit by a partner. When women deserve dignity.

2. That girls/ women should turn a blind eye to men who have a disease like Chris.

3. That fame (or The Show) is worth the price of reality. That, reality being true love and not fame at any cost. She should also find the courage to confront the illusion of a male pop star who thinks he is above any law. Or even basic human dignity.

4. That she herself, does not believe she should stand up for herself. And she should, as she is more than capable to confront an abuser through the right channels. If she does not take an active  stand, Rihanna runs the risk of always being a victim of abuse and attracting this kind of man in a relationship.

5. That the hip hop and r n b community, should turn a blind eye too, when they should not on this matter. Rihanna’s issue needs addressing by hip hop leaders and everyone in Chris Browns camp who has EVER worked with or wishes to ever work with the singer.

6. That everything Rihanna sings, she does not believe in, like telling losers to ‘Take A Bow.’ Her artistic integrity is at stake, if she does not take an active stand.

7. As a manager and producer of talent, Jay-Z  must be seen to facilitate every possible avenue for Rihanna to take a stand against Chris Brown’s behavior. To not do so, is fatal to Jay-Z’s artistic integrity as an artist, manager and producer who is supportive and not exploitative. 

These are perhaps the questions that are racing through Rihanna’s brain as her bruises, body, heart and psyche are healing.

What will Rihanna do?

Love to her and Chris both at this time. Grieving the loss of their relationship for good or for bad, must be hard enough but these are serious issues that Rihanna will need to address, in order to have a career again that’s solid. Beyonce Knowles, the world will look to you and Jay-Z to ensure that Rihanna does.
